Amy Bennett Vanner
Amy Vanner has been riding horses since the early age of 4. She started out by going to various horse camps, and eventually was able to have her own horse. Amy has been fortunate enough to receive excellent education and training from various equine organizations and schools. Amy attended Middle Tennessee State University where she studied Equine Science. While at MTSU, she rode as an Open rider on the MTSU Equestrian team, where she qualified for regionals and nationals in hunt seat and western reining. She has had the pleasure of working as a working student from several top trainers. She has shown competitively in hunter equitation, showjumping, eventing, and dressage. Amy frequently attends clinics and seminars in order to always keep learning. Amy has managed several show barns and breeding facilities within the southeast.
She has experience with the special needs of top-notch show horses, broodmares, stallions, and working with horses that require special medical attention. She treats all horses in her care like they are her own. Amy takes her variety of experiences and is able to combine it into her own unique style. Her focus is on proper biomechanics and classical riding fundamentals, while being the best and most tactful partner for your horse.
Amy also has a huge focus on rider fitness, and incorporates fitness into her lessons. Amy is also a nationally registered Paramedic, and has previous experience as a Vet Tech.
